How to Place an order:

You can place an order using our on line order system, this will lead you to a secure online credit card page when you can leave your personal details in the firm knowledge that they are secure and private. All Payments will be taken in sterling, so please note that due to currency fluctuations if you are ordering from out with the UK prices will vary with currency rates.

Please note that the price conversion rates are only given as a guide.as all charges to credit cards will be in Sterling and as the conversion rates change on a daily basis we can not guarantee an exact charge in anything other than Sterling.

Making a contract with us:
When you place an order with us, you are making an offer to purchase goods. We will send you an email to confirm that we have received your order. Once we have checked the prices and availability of the goods, we will email you again to confirm that we accept your order, we will then have a contract to supply your order. In the unlikely event that the goods are no longer available, or that we have made a pricing mistake, we will advice you of this. You will not receive an email confirming acceptance of your order, and there will be contract between us.



Error correction after ordering:
Please contact me as soon as possible when you realize there is an error with your order,
please email me at caroline@donaldsons-of-crieff.com or phone me on 01764654303. So long as the cloth is not cut or some other item has not started production we will be able to change an order without cost. At all times we will ensure that any extra cost is kept to a minimum, but if a contract exists between us and cloth has been cut we will have to charge you at cost price for the cloth.

Taking Payment:
We will only take payment from your card or cash a cheque when your goods are ready for dispatch so if you do not see a payment through your account please do not worry. I don't think it is good practice to take money for goods in advance of them being ready for dispatch.

Deposits:
I will only take a deposit when an order is in excess of £400, and I will get your permission in advance at an agreed level.

Substitute Goods:
If goods are not available , I will only supply you with substitute goods with prior permission.


Cancellation and returns:
You can cancel your contract at any time up to 7 working days after the day of delivery. To do this please email me at caroline@donaldsons-of-crieff or write to me at:

Please note that any goods that are made specially for you to your specifications may not be returned without getting our prior agreement, this would include bespoke tailoring and cut lengths of cloth. Please note that we will try at all times to ensure that you are completely happy with your order and ensure that alterations are carried out (usually at no extra cost to you) so that you are completely happy with your order. Over the years we have been trading we have virtually never not accepted a return without reimbursing the client.

You do not have to give any reason for canceling your order, however a brief explanation will help us to improve the service we offer to customers in the future.

If you cancel you must return the goods to us at your own expense, you must ensure that the goods are returned to us adequately packaged and in the same condition that they were delivered to you.

This cancellation policy does not affect your legal rights- for example, if the goods are faulty or misdescribed.

Faulty Goods:
If there is a fault or a problem with your order, please contact me. We will replace or reimburse your money where the goods are returned to us and found to be faulty or not as specified in your original order. We will deal with the matter in accordance with your legal rights.

Changes to these terms:
These terms were last changed on 15th March 2009.

These terms apply to your order. We may change our terms and conditions at any time, so please do not assume that the same terms will apply to future orders.

Delivery:

All prices on the web site include delivery world wide.

Goods will be dispatched as soon as we have them ready to go, but as we are offering a service where most of our goods are made to order delivery times will vary from 1 week up to 12 weeks, we have tried to give an indication of delivery times on the web site, but we will email you when confirming the order and give you an indication of the delivery time.

Goods will be dispatched using Royal Mail, Parcelforce, and Parcelforce Worldwide.

If goods are lost or damaged in transit please contact me as soon as possible so that we can attempt to trace the goods or to be able to make a claim against the carrier.
